For 30 years, the Yorkshire Awards have been recognising those who had am impact upon Yorkshire and its people, demonstrating their affection for, and real commitment to, the County.
A significant change has taken place for Yorkshire Awards, after a number of months of planning, designing and creating, we’re excited to announce the case study of the new website.
The updated website includes changes to navigation, branding, and functionality for mobile as well as implementing a new interface.
Our team has worked tirelessly to revamp the site, to bring it up to date and offer a much better user experience.
Changes we've made:
We have used the Advanced Custom Fields Pro plugin to create a simple, usable interface for Yorkshire Awards.
Having included simple instructions and functions to help guide the team at YA around their website this allows users of all different skill sets to manage and update the website from any device and any location.
At Crush Pixels, we like to really tailor and manage your content effectively.
WordPress offers vast customization options. So while there are a number of in-built post types such as posts, pages, nav menu, attachment and revisions, WordPress facilitates developers to also create custom elements. This customization feature extends to post types and taxonomies too.
For this particular project, we wanted to keep plugin use to a minimum and build custom post types that would allow the user to manage their content easily and quickly.
