How we will ensure your website is GDPR Compliant

How we will ensure your website is GDPR Compliant

Is WordPress GDPR Compliant?

Yes, as of WordPress 4.9.6, the WordPress CMS software is GDPR compliant.

The WordPress core team has added several GDPR enhancements to make sure that WordPress is GDPR compliant.

By default WordPress 4.9.6 now comes with the following GDPR enhancement tools:

Comments Consent
Data Export and Erase Feature
Privacy Policy Generator

Contact Forms

If we use contact forms on your website, we often choose to use Gravity Forms or Formidable.

These plugins don't require a Data Processing Agreement because the plugins DO NOT store your form entries on their own website. Your form entries are stored directly in your WordPress database.

Contact Form actions we will take:

Get explicit consent from users to store their information.

Get explicit consent from users if planning to use their data for marketing purposes (i.e adding them to your email list).
Disable cookies, user-agent, and IP tracking for forms.

Cookies?

We will use a tool such as Cookiebot to ensure the website is compliant.

The cookie notice will inform visitors about your website’s intentions to collect their information.

We use SSL Certificate on all website using our hosting

We will install an SSL certificate on your website to protect the stored data on the website server.

SSL certificates are an integral part of secure web browsing and data transfer. Legal regulations and promotion by Google have made it essential that every site should have one.

So you can secure subdomains as well as your primary domain using one certificate.
